
Cancellation policy
As part of our professional agreement, the following cancellation policy ensures we can maintain a consistent and respectful therapeutic relationship.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Appointments are reserved specifically for you. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, I kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows time to offer the slot to another client.
Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Less than 48 hours' notice will incur the full session fee, regardless of the reason, including illness or emergencies, except in rare and exceptional circumstances.

No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will also be charged at the full session rate.
Therapist Cancellations
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel a session, I will provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative times if available. No fees will be charged for therapist-initiated cancellations.
Consistency and Therapeutic Commitment
Regular attendance is essential for the effectiveness of therapy. Repeated cancellations or inconsistent attendance may be reviewed and discussed to determine the best way forward for your therapeutic care.
Communication of Cancellations
Cancellations can be made by phone, text, or email. The time and date of the message will be used to determine whether it meets the 48-hour policy.
